ACK Imani Talent Sacco has taken its financial literacy programme to social groups in Subukia, focusing on savings, responsible borrowing and financial inclusion.

The Sacco held the training at ACK Good Shepherd, Subukia, where members of social groups were taken through practical financial management skills aimed at improving how they save, access credit and manage their livelihoods.

The outreach places financial education alongside access to financial services, particularly for community groups that rely on collective savings and borrowing to support household and income-generating activities.

For Saccos, such grassroots engagements also provide an opportunity to reach potential members beyond traditional branch banking and build awareness around responsible use of credit.

Ultimately, the Subukia training adds to the growing role of Saccos in extending financial education to community groups as demand for accessible savings and affordable credit continues to grow.
