Tower Sacco has marked its 50th anniversary by launching digital loans as it sets its sights on growing its asset base to Ksh80 billion by 2030.
The Nyandarua-based Sacco unveiled the digital lending service during its 50th anniversary celebrations, giving members the ability to access loan facilities through digital channels without having to visit a branch.
The celebrations were led by Board Chairman Peter Ngugi and Chief Executive Officer Patrick Njenga, with CIC Group Chairman Dr Nelson Kuria serving as chief guest.
Tower Sacco also showcased its International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) certification during the event, highlighting its quality management systems as the society expands its financial services.

The Ksh80 billion Vision 2030 target represents a major growth ambition for the Sacco, which has spent five decades building its membership and expanding its financial services across its operating markets.
The digital lending launch signals where the society sees part of its next phase of growth, as Saccos increasingly shift loan applications and other member services from physical branches to digital platforms.
