Waumini Sacco has financed a new pastoral vehicle for the Catholic Women Association (CWA) of Holy Cross Ramba Parish in the Catholic Archdiocese of Kisumu, expanding the role of Sacco financing in supporting Church institutions.
The vehicle was delivered to the parish on September 21, 2026, and officially launched on Sunday, September 27, 2026, providing the parish with additional transport capacity for its pastoral and evangelisation activities.
The vehicle was fully financed through Waumini Sacco, with the parish CWA using the Sacco’s financing services to acquire the new asset.

Waumini Sacco says its Category B membership and loan products support Catholic institutions seeking financing for development projects and assets. Category B membership is specifically available to Catholic institutions, which can save and access credit through institutional accounts.
The Sacco also offers asset financing for new and second-hand assets, with the financed asset serving as collateral.
The Holy Cross Ramba Parish acquisition therefore highlights how Sacco credit can extend beyond individual members to institutions such as parishes, schools and Church groups, helping finance assets required for their day-to-day operations.
Waumini Sacco has continued to position institutional financing as part of its wider role within the Catholic community, while the new vehicle gives Holy Cross Ramba Parish an additional resource for its pastoral work and outreach.
