Tower Sacco hosts Topkrim DT Sacco for benchmarking visit

Tower Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (Sacco) has hosted a delegation from Topkrim DT Sacco for a benchmarking visit focused on governance, leadership, operations and member service.

The visiting team was led by Topkrim DT Sacco Chairman Isaiah Opere Owino and Chief Executive Officer Arphaxard Obala, accompanied by members of the board and staff.

Tower Sacco Vice Chairman David Muriithi led the host institution’s board members, while Chief Executive Officer Patrick Njenga led the staff during the visit.

According to Tower Sacco, the engagement provided an opportunity for the two institutions to exchange ideas, share experiences and learn from each other’s practices in managing their operations and serving members.

Tower Sacco said collaboration and knowledge sharing are important in strengthening Saccos, encouraging innovation and supporting sustainable growth across the cooperative movement.

The visit highlights the role of peer engagement in enabling Saccos to exchange institutional experience and explore practices that can support their governance and service delivery.
