Murang’a Kiama Kia Ma elders have established a saving and credit cooperative society to empower themselves financially.
Peter Kagwanja, who was elected county patron, said they aim at consolidating Sh10 million that will be used to give credits.
The Sacco dubbed Njungw’a’ which means a traditional stool is expected to ensure members are empowered both socially and economically.
