- AFA director general honoured alongside leaders from across Africa

Agriculture and Food Authority (AFA) Director General Bruno Linyiru has been named one of the 100 Africa Most Influential Persons at the third edition of the Africa Most Influential Persons Award in Kigali, Rwanda.
The recognition was organised by The Business Executive. According to the organisers, Linyiru was honoured for his leadership, achievements and contribution to growth and development, as well as his positive impact on society.
He was recognised alongside other leaders drawn from across the continent.
The award adds to the profile of the AFA, the State agency that regulates Kenya’s agricultural sector.
