The Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing and Urban Development has stopped use of old generation mutation forms for land transactions.
The ministry has instead developed online platforms (ardhisasa) to assist in land transactions in the country.
In statement by Director of Surveys Maritim Weldon dated 14th January 2025,the ministry says the online platform will enhance easy access of efficient and effective land services in line with Kenya vision 2030.

The government will no longer be procuring forms for the land transactions it will also not receive or process the old generation mutation forms with effect from 1st March 2025 across all the 47 counties.
Only mutation forms procured and processed through the online platform ardhisasa.lands.go.ke will be accepted.
