initiated a comprehensive programme targeting
small scale groups who are given
loans to expand their business.

across the entire South Nyanza
region, with emphasis on how best individuals
can utilize loans given out to them.
This personal finance management
(PFM) course is aiming to lend out more
than Sh1 billion, through Gusii Mwalimu
Teachers Sacco.
“Gusii Mwalimu Teachers Sacco is
able to process a loan request from members
within a day and we intend to make the
process even better and faster,” Omwansa
told Sacco Review in his office.
