Imarisha Sacco Society Ltd is among the 17 individuals and corporates feted by President William Ruto during the celebrations to commemorate the taxpayers month.
The Sacco received recognition for being the best Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) taxpayer in South Rift Region.
While receiving the award on behalf of the Sacco, Deputy CEO Ernest Langat said the award was an encouragement to the Sacco for its hard work in complying to tax payment.
He encouraged other Saccos to comply in filing their taxes regularly.
Langat lauded KRA for the long week engagement with taxpayers, where they took them through various activities like taxpayers appreciation visit, education exercise, customer service Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and an international tax summit discourse.
