Kajiado County Assembly staff and members of county assembly have registered a Sacco to empower themselves through credit, and investment opportunities.
The Sacco dubbed Kajiado County Bunge Savings and Credit cooperative Society Limited received the registration certificate on 20th March 2025.
Kajiado County Director of Cooperatives James Taiko commended the assembly for the move which will contribute for growth of members’ investments.

He said Saccos offer lower interest rates on loans, higher interest rates on savings, and often have more flexible loan terms.
According to latest statistics Saccos issue more loans than commercial banks commercial banks are now abandoned due to high interest rates.
With collective commitment and vision, the Bunge Sacco will be a pillar of economic empowerment for years to come in the county.
