Kamulu Housing Society Chairman passes on

Kamulu Housing Cooperative Society Chairman Augustine Nzioka Mutuku has passed on.

Nzioka famously known as Penny died on Friday, 2nd September after a short illness. He had served as Chair for over ten years.

Friends described him as a charming and optimistic man who did not hesitate to fight for the rights of the members at the Society.

Muka Mukuu Farmers Cooperative Society Chairman Dominic Nthwao wrote, “My sincere condolences to the family of the late Augustine Nzioka during this difficult time. I may not have known him at a personal level to talk much but he was a good man. May he rest in peace.”

Kwa Mating’i Farmers Cooperative Society Chairman also rendered his condolence message to the family praying for strength during ‘this hard time’.

“My heartfelt condolence to friends and family members of Augustine Nzioka Mutuku. He has served as Chair for Kamulu housing society for a very long time and his absence will be felt. Augustine shine on your way,” he said.

For years Mutuku had fought cartels who had invaded the 2,300-acre land and selling it to unsuspecting buyers.

He had complained that efforts to seek help from the government had not paid off.
