Kesses Member of Parliament Dr. Swarup Mishra has called on boda boda operators to join Saccos for them to be empowered financially.
Speaking after meeting boda boda operators from Chepkigen, Mogobich, Lengut, Mogochoret and Chemenei villages, Dr Mishra said the move will help them save and get loans which they can use to improve their lives.
“I am working round the clock to ensure that boda boda operators in my constituency are financially empowered,” said the legislator.
He challenged youths to join cooperatives noting that most of the members in such cooperatives are as old as 60 years.
“Being in a cooperative movement is one of the easiest ways of getting financial support from the government.” said the Kesses MP
