- KUSCCO Housing Cooperative has adopted a new identity as You and Me Housing Cooperative Society.
- Members will retain their existing rights, savings, loans and contractual agreements.
- The rebrand aims to strengthen the cooperative’s market presence and support future growth.
U&M Housing Cooperative has formally changed its name from KUSCCO Housing Cooperative Society Ltd to You and Me (U&M) Housing Cooperative Society Ltd, marking a major step in its efforts to establish a stronger identity and position itself for sustainable growth.
The name change follows a resolution passed during a Special General Meeting held on September 10, 2025, according to a notice issued by the cooperative on August 20, 2026.
The cooperative said the rebranding is part of its broader strategic direction aimed at creating a clear and distinctive brand identity, strengthening its market presence, supporting sustainable growth and improving service delivery to members.
Operating under the U&M Housing identity, the cooperative has sought to reassure members that the change is primarily a branding and identity initiative and does not alter their existing legal or contractual relationship with the society.

According to the notice, all existing member details and records will remain unchanged. Members will retain their rights, benefits and interests in the cooperative, while their obligations will continue under the same terms and conditions.
The cooperative further assured members that existing agreements, contracts, commitments and other arrangements entered into with the society would remain valid and unaffected by the change of name.
Members holding savings, shares, loans and other interests in the cooperative will continue to have them administered in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
The Board of Directors said the rebranding was intended to provide the cooperative with a stronger, more consistent and recognisable identity as it prepares for the next phase of its development.
“The rebranding does not affect the legal or contractual relationship between the Co-operative and its members,” the management said in the notice.
