Kenya Union of Savings and Credit Co-operatives (KUSCCO) in collaboration with African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Associations (ACCOSCA), is set to host the 8th Eastern Regional Bloc Forum, a key event for SACCO stakeholders in the region.
The forum, which is scheduled to take place from April 15th to 17th, 2026, at the PrideInn Flamingo Beach Resort and Spa in Mombasa, will focus on the theme: “Building Resilience and Stability within SACCO Ecosystems.”
The event promises to be a transformative platform for SACCO leaders and industry professionals, featuring high-level technical workshops and strategic networking sessions. Participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights and tools to position their institutions for success in 2026 and beyond.

The forum aims to address critical issues surrounding the SACCO ecosystem, offering a space for collaboration and knowledge sharing to foster greater resilience and stability within the sector.
With over 14 million Kenyans as members, SACCOs play a significant role in the country’s financial landscape, managing an asset base of over Ksh 1 trillion. This represents approximately 45% to 48% of total national savings.
Two-thirds of the Kenyan population benefits directly or indirectly from the co-operative movement, highlighting its importance to the national economy.
