Sacco CEO encourages members to choose financial institutions wisely before investing

Suluhu DT sacco Chief Executive Officer, (CEO) has advised members intending to join the sacco to have a thorough review of financial institutions they intend to invest with.

Speaking during the Sacco’s education day, the CEO Sammy Mutemi noted that all saccos are good but encouraged members to understand the parameters in each Sacco they want to invest in

“And of course charity starts at home. I will call upon many to join our sacco since it’s the best of all.”Mutemi said.

His remarks were also echoed by the chairman committee on education Michael Kitheka who encouraged the public to choose financial institutions wisely adding that besides members being customers they should own the Sacco.

“Here in our Sacco, we give our members a privilege of being customers and owning the sacco to benefit fully,” Chairman said.

On being transparent and direct engagement with members, Kitheka noted that they have established a WhatsApp group which they communicate official issues to members and engage directly adding that any member who feels they need engagement with the top officials they are at liberty to do that.

The CEO also called upon members to borrow to invest and not impress adding that they should invest in what they understand or get the right expert advice to reduce risk.

He encouraged members to create monthly budgets and stick to it adding that consistent savings leads to financial stability and above all avoid impulse buying.
