Times U DT Sacco has relocated its Makutano branch from its former premises at 3 Steers Hotel to a new location at Makutano Main Stage, opposite Life Care Hospital, with services beginning at the new site from August 17, 2026.
The Sacco said the move is aimed at giving members a more accessible space while maintaining the same range of services previously offered at the branch. Members are being encouraged to visit the new premises to familiarise themselves with the location.

Makutano is one of six branches run by Times U DT Sacco, alongside Nkubu, Mitunguu, Kariene, Githongo, and Timau, serving a membership base spread across Meru County and beyond. The Sacco has previously indicated plans to expand its branch network in the region to ease congestion at its busier outlets, including Makutano.
