Unaitas Sacco has secured two recognitions at the Kenya Affordable Housing Awards 2026, held during the 5th Kenya Affordable Housing Conference in Naivasha.
The Sacco was named National Reach Champion in the Sacco Category and Affordable Housing Impact Champion in the Sacco Category, highlighting its role in expanding access to home ownership.

Unaitas attributed the recognition to the support of its members and its partnership with the Kenya Mortgage Refinance Company (KMRC), which it said has helped expand its affordable housing financing reach.
The awards come as Saccos continue to play a growing role in Kenya’s housing finance market, providing members with financing options aimed at making home ownership more accessible.
