Waumini Sacco mourns internal audit manager

Mwangi served the Sacco for five years, a tenure the organisation says was marked by dedication and professionalism.

Waumini Sacco Society is mourning the death of its Internal Audit Manager, David Kamau Mwangi, who died on September 5, 2026, at Coptic Hospital after battling an illness.

Mwangi served the Sacco for five years, a tenure the organisation says was marked by dedication and professionalism. In a statement, the Sacco said his leadership and service had made a meaningful difference to the institution, adding that his absence will be felt across the Board, management, staff and membership.

The Sacco extended condolences to Mwangi’s family, relatives, friends and colleagues, and asked members to keep them in their thoughts during this period of mourning.
