Wakadiri Sacco Society Limited has appointed Janet Wanjiru as its new Business Development Officer, with the role taking effect on Monday, November 2.
Wanjiru arrives from the microfinance sector, where she worked as a relationship and loan officer at several institutions. Over those years, she built up skills in marketing and in handling customer experience, both of which she is now expected to put to use at the Sacco.

The announcement came from Board Chairman Vincent Muroki. He said the board is confident she will lift the Sacco’s marketing and business development department to a new level.
The appointment places Wanjiru in a department tasked with growing the Sacco’s reach and strengthening its ties with members. Wakadiri Sacco, which describes its mission as nurturing members’ dreams, has not yet said which projects she will handle first.
