Dr Obara, on her part said that failure to save has led to poverty level surge. “Saccos inculcate the spirit of savings culture among communities. Some Saccos also have health insurance programs.  I urge my fellow women to join Saccos,” said Dr Obara, adding, “Saccos provides opportunities for wealth creation and enhances the dignity of borrowers.”

“A Sacco enables one to borrow funds with dignity because they lend the amount of money one applies for based on their savings,” she added

The leaders also told participants on the importance of healthcare advising them to embrace the use of Sawa Water Can to purify water.
