NSSF Sacco launches 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, new logo

Simon Chelugui Cabinet Secretary, Ministry of Co-operatives Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development (MSMEs) was the chief guest today during the launch of NSSF Sacco Strategic Plan (2024-2028) and New Logo at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Nairobi.

The launch is aimed at promoting innovative, commercially oriented and efficient financial services is engraved at NSSF Sacco so as to enhance visibility in both local and international levels.

Chelugui said Kenya has made tremendous economic progress courtesy of Co-operatives which are spread across all the sectors of the economy.

“While Kenya is currently ranked number one in Africa and seventh globally, we will continue working hard to get into the top five in the world. Today, I presided over the launch of the NSSF Sacco Strategic Plan for 2024-2028 in Nairobi. I was particularly impressed with the great plans NSSF Sacco has in store,” he said.

The Chief Executive Officer of Co-op Holdings, Fredrick Ndegwa graced the occasion and made his remarks. He shared his journey with the Sacco being a shareholder of Coop holdings and the importance of the partnership between Co-op Holdings and NSSF Sacco.

Jack Ranguma, the Chairman of Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA) honoured the occasion and mentioned his confidence in the Sacco’s governance and stability.

David K. Obonyo, Commissioner of Co-operatives was present to grace the occasion and mentioned the great strides Cooperatives have taken in the country and also congratulated NSSF Sacco  “Inspiring Prosperity” on its SP launch.

He spoke about the journey NSSF SACCO, its growth and how the Strategic Plan document needs to be the day to day guide in the Sacco operations.

Arnold Munene Acting Managing Director at KUSCCO Ltd graced the occasion and thanked the Sacco on the milestones it has achieved.

Principal Secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Co-operatives and Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development Patrick Kilemi was also present.
