Members of Kenya Medical Association (KMA) Sacco gathered in Nairobi for a Members’ Education Day and Special General Meeting (SGM), combining financial education with deliberations on the future of the society.

The meeting, held at Radisson Blu Hotel Nairobi Upper Hill, brought members together under the theme “Growing Together, Building for Generations.”

Stima DT Sacco Chief Executive Officer Dr Gamaliel Hassan, who was the guest speaker, challenged members to strengthen financial discipline, make informed investments and approach borrowing responsibly.

The SGM also provided members with an opportunity to participate in discussions and decisions concerning the direction of KMA Sacco, highlighting the role of member participation in cooperative governance.

The combination of financial education and member deliberation reflects two critical functions of Sacco general meetings: helping members make better financial decisions while giving them a voice in how their society is run.
