ACK Imani Talent Sacco seeks business development manager

ACK Imani Talent NWDT Sacco (AITS) has opened applications for a business development manager position, with a deadline of September 5, 2026, to grow its loan book and deposit portfolio.

AITS is a non-withdrawable deposit-taking Sacco regulated by the Sacco Societies Regulatory Authority (SASRA). The society serves members across Nakuru, Naivasha, Kiambogo, Gilgil, Molo, Bahati and Njoro, operating under the Anglican Church of Kenya’s Diocese of Nakuru.

The successful candidate will lead efforts to grow the Sacco’s loan and deposit portfolio, alongside designing and running membership recruitment and retention strategies. The role also covers evaluating credit proposals, processing applications promptly and maintaining a high quality loan book while keeping portfolio at risk under control.

Beyond credit management, the manager will be expected to deepen relationships with existing clients and deliver strong credit and treasury solutions.

Maintaining customer relationship standards, adhering to regulatory requirements and upholding the Sacco’s brand reputation also form part of the brief. The position additionally calls for leading, mentoring and motivating the Sacco’s business development team.

AITS is looking for a candidate with at least five years’ experience, mostly gained within a bank, microfinance institution or a regulated Sacco, along with a degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field.

A proven track record in business growth, sales and portfolio management is required, together with high integrity, strong networking and planning abilities, and close attention to detail.

Applicants must be at least 30 years old, and being a practising Anglican congregant would count as an added advantage.
