Angaza Afrika Sacco has been assisting farmers to improve their activities and find markets both locally and abroad, besides offering them financial advice.
“Currently we have partnered with 3,000 pepper farmers in Malindi. We connect farmers with agriculture experts which has helped increase yields,” noted Charity Wanjiku, CEO Angaza Afrika Sacco.
She said through partnerships with farmers, they have got rid off middle men exploitation. The Sacco is keen to build a global community and has assisted people in the diaspora save and acquire property
in Kenya, Wanjiku added.
Since its inception in January 2014, Angaza Afrika Sacco has greatly empowered many members economically, enabling them to save and grow their money.
The fear of God, respect, professionalism and integrity are core values that have fuelled the Sacco’s
Impressive undertaking, she noted.
The over-2000-member Sacco has out grown its humble beginnings with its eye now set on bigger achievements that will enhance development in Africa. With the current 17 branches, the Sacco is looking for more expansion in future.
