Capital Markets Authority (CMA) has granted an Intermediary Service Platform Provider (ISPP) licence to Rubiani Capital Limited, expanding the regulator’s list of approved digital investment platforms.
The approval was made under Regulation 76 of the Capital Markets (Collective Investment Schemes) Regulations, 2023.
CMA said the licence forms part of its ongoing efforts to deepen Kenya’s capital markets, enhance innovation and expand access to investment services. The regulator added that the move reflects its commitment to fostering a well-regulated, inclusive and dynamic capital markets ecosystem.

Rubiani Capital Limited runs a technology-enabled, non-custodial investment facilitation platform. It offers structured, goal-based financial planning tools and connects users to capital markets products supplied exclusively by licensed and regulated third-party institutions.
The platform is aimed at mass-affluent professionals, small and medium enterprise (SME) owners and entrepreneurs, and diaspora investors looking for transparent, technology-enabled access to regulated investment opportunities.
However, all execution, asset management and custody functions remain with licensed fund managers, investment banks and accredited intermediaries. This ensures a clear separation between advice, facilitation and execution.
CMA reminded investors to deal only with licensed and approved capital markets intermediaries.
