Finsco Africa, NACHU hold mega drive for multi billion housing project

Real Estate Finsco Africa and the National Co-operative Housing Union (NACHU) held a mega housing drive dubbed Riverline Ridges Open Day Activation in Ruiru with over 1,000 customers in attendance.

Riverline Ridges project was launched last year on a 423 acre piece of land in Ruiru and it will enable Kenyans purchase land at a discounted rate of between Ksh 2.3 million and Ksh 2.8 million for an eighth of an acre.

Finsco Africa CEO John Mwaura said the housing project will engage Kenyans in investing in the purchase of plots on the premises through partnerships with various Saccos and financial institutions.

“The project will give Kenyans an opportunity to own residential houses at very affordable prices,” he added.

He pointed out that most of their customers were still struggling from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, locust invasion and the Ukraine war, a situation that prompted them to continue offering flexible land investment options to accommodate the needs of their customers.

Mwaura said it’s an impactful experience to have the Mega sales drive and witness customers getting to know each other, identifying their beacons and planting trees.

He challenged those in attendance to take up the Home direct module of owning a house of their dream and live at Riverline.

Finsco Africa Director of Customer Service and Communications Abby Zuena said the project is also a social impact initiative as it seeks to empower women with affordable housing and land solutions.

“Many women have shown interest in the acquisition and investment of Real Estate assets over the past years and we have payment plans tailored to encourage women to own assets in the real estate industry” Zuena said.

NACHU Chairman Francis Kamande said NACHU has envisioned a reality of enhancing a social impact for Kenyan families by having them realize how easy it is to own a house in urban and rural areas without over-stretching financially.
