The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has revoked licences belonging to 64 matatu Saccos.
In a notice seen by Sacco Review, some of the operator licenses revoked include Moline, Wamasaa, Oromats, Kensilver and Mbukinya.
The police have also been advised to impound their vehicles if found on the road.

The agency also advised members of the public not to board the vehicles. Below is the list of the suspended Saccos.
“Members of the Public are hereby advised not to board vehicles belonging to these Sacco’s/Companies to avoid inconveniences. The National Police Service (NPS) has been advised to impound vehicles belonging to the Saccos/Companies found operating following the revocation of their licences,” NTSA said in the circular.
The revocation affect both short and long-distance travelers across the country.
