According to the Chairman, Alfred Ngetuny, the move has seen membership increase from 3,356 in 2015 to 5, 856 in 2016.
He said the Sacco had also recorded marked growth which he attributed to factors like M-Banking and other technological services which enabled its members carry out their activities conveniently.
Ngetuny who was speaking at St. Peter’s Catholic Social Hall in Kapsabet town during the Annual Delegates Meeting (ADM) said the Sacco is committed to expansion of operations and introduction of new products and services in order to broaden its revenue base and improve on service delivery.
The Sacco CEO, Ezekiel Sawe challenged members to reconsider the issue of registering with the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) which would help safeguard members’ money by eliminating loan defaulters.
