Ufundi Savings and Credit Cooperative Society (Sacco) has announced plans to sell its landmark Co-op Plaza building located at the intersection of Moi Avenue and Moktar Daddah Street in Nairobi’s Central Business District.

The property, which stands on a 0.0546-hectare parcel of land, comprises 13 floors and three basement levels, offering approximately 49,000 square feet of office space. The building features standard fittings and modern amenities, making it one of the notable commercial properties in the city centre.

In a public tender notice issued on June 11, 2026, the Sacco invited interested investors to bid for the property.

“Ufundi Sacco Society invites bidders for the purchase of Ufundi Co-op Plaza on L.R. No. 209/257,” the notice states.

According to the tender document, the property is held under a 99-year lease that commenced on March 1, 1988. The building enjoys steady rental income from tenants and is equipped with key facilities, including backup power generators, reliable telephone connectivity, well-maintained water and plumbing systems, a 24,000-litre water reservoir, and passenger lifts.
