Women, youth told to embrace a saving culture

The Chief Executive Officer of Universal Traders Sacco Society in Machakos County, Mr. Dominic Mutunga has urged women and youth groups to embrace a saving culture so as to eradicate poverty.
He told them to join cooperatives as they are powerful vehicles of social inclusion and political and economic empowerment of their members.
Mutunga was speaking during a training seminar organized by the sacco in Tala town.
Universal Traders Sacco Society has 53,000 members and six branches in Machakos, Wote, Tala, Embu, Kathiani and Kitui.
