The West Pokot County Boda Boda Association has a vision of purchasing a shuttle (van) to boost the group economically from the revenue it will generate.
Speaking to Sacco Review desk in Makutano town, the chairman of the association Mr. Augustine Tomunyo said that the main focus of the group members now is to uplift the living standards of its members so that their families remain stable and able to fend for themselves.
“We as officials humbly request the West Pokot County government to assist us achieve our dream’’ said Mr.Augustine Tomunyo, Chairman of the West Pokot County Boda Boda Association. He also appealed to the county government to sponsor their members to train in driving schools to familiarize themselves with traffic rules.
Mr Tomunyo also added that the major objective of the association is to assist members pay school fees for their children, start and complete development projects in their homesteads, assist members during functions like weddings and funerals.
“Above all, the association is a symbol of unity to the members’’ Mr. Tomunyo said.
