Biashara DT Sacco Ltd has announced the death of Patrick Wanjohi Maina, who served as the Chairman of its Supervisory Committee.
In a obituary notice in one of the dailies, the Sacco conveyed its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched.
“It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Patrick Wanjohi Maina, of Gulf Furniture Mart, karatina, amd Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Biashara Sacco,” reads the obituary in part.
In a Facebook post, the Sacco conveyed its condolences to Wanjohi’s family and friends, describing him as a dedicated individual who served with integrity.

“His dedication, integrity, and unwavering service to Biashara DT Sacco Society Limited have left a lasting legacy that will continue to inspire us. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who had the privilege of knowing him,” the Sacco stated.
The Sacco said that family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kienja-ini location from 5:00 p.m., for prayer and funeral arrangements. The burial date is set for Friday, July 3.
“The cortege will leave Jamii Funeral Home on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., for a memorial service at Kienjaini P.C.E.A. church, Karatina, followed by the funeral service and burial thereafter at his home in Kienja-ini, Karatina,” the Sacco announced.
