Daima Sacco Society Limited has intensified efforts to promote financial literacy among its members, with a strong focus on empowering young people to build secure financial futures.

The recent annual members’ education session attracted significant engagement, with over 70 percent of participants drawn from the youth demographic.

The session centered on practical approaches to saving and smart investing, equipping attendees with tools to make informed financial decisions. By targeting younger members, the Sacco aims to nurture a generation that is financially disciplined, investment-savvy, and confident in managing personal finances.

The training highlighted strategies for budgeting, growing savings, and identifying viable investment opportunities skills seen as essential in today’s dynamic economic environment.

Daima Sacco’s commitment to member empowerment reflects its broader mission of fostering financial inclusion and resilience.

Established initially as a small farmers’ cooperative, the Sacco has since evolved into a diverse financial institution serving salaried employees, traders, groups, and micro-entrepreneurs.

Over the years, the institution has expanded its services beyond agricultural lending. The introduction of Front Office Service Activity (FOSA), along with the rollout of additional branches and agent outlets, has improved accessibility, allowing members to conveniently deposit, withdraw, and access credit closer to their homes and workplaces
