The Micro and Small Enterprises Authority (MSEA) Murang’a County Office has partnered with TechnoServe to host an engagement forum promoting inclusive entrepreneurship for women living with disabilities.
The forum brought together women entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to foster economic empowerment and inclusive business growth within the county.
Participants shared their business experiences and challenges with SME representatives, opening space for dialogue on the barriers women with disabilities face in growing their enterprises.
Beyond the discussions, the forum explored practical opportunities for market linkages, connecting women-led businesses with buyers and larger enterprises to expand their customer base.

Sessions also focused on business development support, access to finance, and mentorship, equipping participants with tools to strengthen and scale their ventures.
Organisers said the initiative reflects a broader push to ensure persons with disabilities are not left behind in Kenya’s entrepreneurship ecosystem, but instead have direct pathways to markets, capital and growth support.
The forum forms part of MSEA’s continued efforts, alongside development partners such as TechnoServe, to mainstream youth, gender and disability inclusion across micro and small enterprise programmes nationwide.
