- The Sacco is targeting salaried workers with a range of savings and loan products

Unison Sacco has opened a new branch in Iten, Elgeyo Marakwet County, in a bid to expand its member base and bring services closer to its members.
The branch opened its doors early this year and has recorded impressive uptake, according to Branch Marketing Manager Ezra Muthoga.
Speaking to the Sacco Review during a field marketing mission, Muthoga said that since its inception, the Sacco has enlisted over 400 new members, a clear indication of growing confidence in the Sacco’s products and services.
“The uptake has been impressive. Since we opened early this year, we have already enlisted over 400 new members,” Muthoga said.
He said the Sacco is targeting salaried employees and prides itself on offering over 20 competitive products tailored to meet members’ financial needs, including savings, loans, asset financing and development products.

Muthoga further revealed that plans are underway to open more branches in Uasin Gishu and Kapsowar as part of its expansion strategy to serve members across the North Rift region.
Unison Sacco, previously known as Laikipia Teachers Sacco, has grown beyond its traditional base and is now spread across 15 counties countrywide, serving both teachers and members from other sectors.
Muthoga called upon residents of Elgeyo Marakwet and neighbouring counties to join the Sacco and take advantage of its affordable and member-friendly financial solutions.
