Cabinet Secretary, Cooperatives and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Simon Kiprono Chelugui has been ranked 8 among the top 10 best performing cabinet secretaries by Mizani Africa.
The Investment,Trade & Industrialisation Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano was rated the Best Performing CS in Kenya 2024 with 72.3pc performance rating.
She was closely followed by Interior CS Prof Kithure Kindiki with 68.4 per cent and Information CS Eliud Owalo at third position position with 63.4 per cent.

Also in the survey conducted Miano was also the most improved CS at 72.3 per cent, an increase from 54 per cent performance rating reordered seven months ago from an earlier survey conducted by the same institution.
Mizani Africa also placed Cooperatives CS third in Most Transformative category gannering 13 per cent.
Miano topped with 37 per cent preference, followed by CS Owalo with 18 per cent.
As well Miano was second most preferred candidate as a presidential running mate at 35 per cent with Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru topping at 42 per cent performance rating.
