The members of Imarisha Sacco Society Limited have been officially notified of upcoming elections for delegates, in a process aimed at strengthening representation and enhancing governance within the cooperative society.
In a notice issued to all members and delegates, the Sacco confirmed that the election exercise will be conducted soon, with the specific dates and venues expected to be communicated in due course.
The management emphasized that the elections are part of the institution’s democratic framework, designed to ensure effective member participation in leadership structures.
Interested candidates have been instructed to collect nomination forms from their nearest Front Office Service Activity (FOSA) branches located in Kericho, Bureti, Mulot, and Fort Ternan.
The Sacco further directed that duly completed nomination forms must be submitted to the Chief Election Officer (CEO) office not later than 15 May 2026.
Applicants are required to attach several key documents to their nomination forms to support vetting and verification. These include a Certificate of Good Conduct (Police Clearance Certificate), CRB Clearance Certificate, and relevant employment documentation such as employment letters, retirement letters, or payslips.
Teachers under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) are required to forward their payslips through the T-Pay system.

Additionally, candidates must attach copies of their national identification cards, as well as those of their proposer and seconder.
According to the notice signed by Kiplangat Koech, an official of the Sacco, the elections are expected to uphold fairness, transparency and inclusivity, allowing members to choose leaders who will represent their interests effectively.
The Sacco has assured members that further details, including election dates and venues, will be communicated in due course to ensure smooth coordination of the exercise.
Members have been urged to actively participate in the electoral process, which is considered key in strengthening governance and improving service delivery within the cooperative.
